Helen Menhinick is a qualified Mountain Leader, a tutor for NNAS Bronze, Silver and Gold and a provider for Mountain Training Hill and Mountain Skills and Rescue Emergency Care first aid courses. Helen is very experienced out in the hills and thoroughly enjoys exploring the hills to find new routes and experiences to share with others. She is always enthusiastic and wants everyone to discover the outdoors and realise the physical and mental benefits for their well-being.
Helen has recently launched Bryn Walking for Women and will be providing walks, NNAS training, REC first aid courses and treks overseas for 'all women' groups.
Bryn Walking's Quality of Service
In order to ensure compliance with good practice in respect of our outdoor activities we use the services of a Technical Adviser.
Our Technical Adviser is Alan Ward who is an International Mountain Leader and a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015. Alan was previously the Area Manager (East) for the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority and this included being the in-house AALA Technical Adviser. Alan will randomly monitor our events programme to keep us compliant with good practice standards. |
“Anyone booking on a course or walk with Helen will be in safe hands ...I have observed Helen leading several walks and courses. She is very good at providing leadership and effective group management – the feedback she receives from participants is always very positive.”
