BRYN WALKING
20th December, Tuesday
Family Christmas Walk. A fairly flat walk, might be muddy/slippery in places. Up into the town, passing some interesting sites and then following the river Usk and back along the canal.
Distance: approx. 10km
Total ascent: 118m
Walk start time: 10.30am
Start Point: Brecon Theatre car park
There will be mince pies supplied but only if you are wearing a Christmas hat!
Bryn Walking for Women
13th December, Tuesday
Llanthony South. A circular walk, going anticlockwise up on to Bal Bach to meet the Beacons Way and down Garn Wen, crossing the Honddu valley and up Hatterrall Hill to meet the Offa’s Dyke path, dropping back down to Llanthony.
Distance: approx. 16km
Total ascent: 770m
Walk start time: 09.00am (an early start for a short winter’s day)
Start Point: Llanthony Priory car park
